Shadow Scrolls

This series of paintings  are process based work I call shadow painting. I follow a process without expectations of the end result.  I find shadows or create a sculpture that I then project a light through and paint the resulting shadows from. I pre-mix the colors to be the tones of the shadow so it can be a completely unhindered experience of tracing and flow.
