Genuine Nannies Presents Art Classes by Danielle Lange
I have helped facilitate people of all ages in their art practice at whatever stage they are at. I like to empower people with the knowledge, competency, tools and materials to create what they dream up.
I like to tell people that if you can dream it, you can create it.
I have taught people from the ages of 1.5 up to adults in various art techniques, materials and practices.
Beginner's Succulent Workshop
Ages 5-8+
March 24th from 12am-1pm
(pack a light snack if your child needs one)
Material Exploration: Sculpture & Succulents
This class is good for children, beginner gardeners and anyone looking to learn a bit about succulent care while immersing themselves in creating a miniature living world. I encourage make believe and play during this class.
Children will choose from a large assortment of different shapes, and styles D.I.Y containers for terrariums as well as succulents, moss, crystals and small plastic animals/toys to decorate the terrarium.
This is a great way to learn while playing.
During this succulent class you will learn about terrariums and the ins-and-outs of creating them.
I offer a beginner's guide to care, maintenance, & propagation to everyone and a more in depth explanation for anyone interested in learning more.
This class is hands-on, so I will have smocks but it's also always best if the children come prepared. This means kids should be dressed in clothes that can get a little dirty and prepare to enjoy an afternoon of fun, creativity and education! Also, pack a light snack if your child needs one.

I can come to your home and set up an environment where we can create (I always leave the environment as clean as I found it) or we can create in a private art studio, so that we don’t have to worry your space.
I pride myself on creating a supportive & encouraging atmosphere where people feel safe to explore their full potential and creativity.
I tailor the lessons and projects to the student based on their interests and previous skill. My background in art ranges from classical to contemporary spanning both 2D & 3D. As a result, I have a wide breath of knowledge across the many creative mediums.
Youth Painting Class
March 24th 10am-11am
Ages 3-5 year olds (three year olds with guardian)
Material Exploration: Foam Paint and ink droppers
We create a supportive and fun environment for children to explore their creative side without the hassle of worrying about the clean up; so they can really let loose and let another side come out. The more one is allowed to expand in a safe environment the more understanding they have of themselves and the world around them.
Each class, I will introduce a new skill and material to play with. The hand eye coordination of working with a new material and tool is a challenge so I keep it simple. This class is focused on the development of fine motor skills, concentration, sensory play, and socialization skills.
This class is hands-on, so I will have smocks but it's also always best if the children come prepared, dressed in clothes that can get a little dirty and prepare to enjoy an evening of education, and creativity! Also pack a light snack if your child needs one.
Animal Mask Creations
March 24th 1:30-2:30
4-6 year olds
March 24th 3:30-4:30
6-8 year olds
Material Exploration: Creating animal masks with creative decorations & embellishments
We will draw out and cut out cardboard animal/ creature masks. Note: The 4-6 year old class will use pre-cut cardboard masks. The children will then decorate themselves; however, they see fit. We will have may materials for them to choose from. This can be a fun prop to add to their play bin or a just a character for the day. This class aims to engage the children's creative minds through imaginative play, engaging storytelling & the exploration of artistic materials.
This is a great class to take as an add-on to a child's school day or as a way to prep and prepare students for Kindergarten. Art projects will focus on the development of fine motor skills, concentration, and personal creative/ imaginative thinking. The class will include songs, games, and sensory activities.
This class is hands-on, so we will have smocks but it's also always best if the children come prepared, dressed in clothes that can get a little dirty and prepare to enjoy an evening of education, and creativity! Also, pack a light snack if your child needs one.
